Thanks. The battery arrived in a soft plastic envelope bubble wrapped in fine condition. It took about an hour to swap the battery following some tutorials/videos. You'll need the right tools to open the case and detach/reattach cables. It worked perfectly, the ASUS Transformer booted for the first time in years. Unfortunately the system doesn't let you upgrade Android past v4.2.1, so the OS and applications have no upgrade path. The battery was great, worked fine, but there's probably no point restoring this device, unless you want to root it. I found instructions online to root it and install Android 7.1 (Google "Asus Transformer Pad TF300T Any version to Android 7.1 Nougat") but that is 4 pages of dot point instructions... no thanks... I'll buy something new instead.
